TyTek Shows Ambition to Save Lives

TyTek have signed up for a third time to exhibit at the Ambition expo (6-7 March 2018 at London Olympia). The exhibition and conference is aligned with the TyTek TeamNational Resilience Capabilities Programme and the National Respond and Rescue Strategy and is part of UK Security Week.

Ambition provides professionals with the unique opportunity to meet, network and debate the latest challenges facing the EPRR community. Visitors will hear from leading experts on topics such as the future of emergency services, response to terrorist attacks and resilience for businesses, as well as being able investigate the latest equipment - This includes our life-saving security system, Ptensys - designed specifically to treat trauma victims in Mass Casualty Incidents.

TyTek Industries President, Chris Tyler said: "We have seen some appalling and heart-breaking examples of innocent people losing their lives as a result of military style injuries.

"It was interesting to hear the views of a retired military first responder interviewed by National Public Radio, who was on the scene in Las Vegas. He was taking victims to where ambulances should have been, but with the area in lockdown the emergency services were denied access.

"We're by no means criticising that protocol, it is in place both sides of the Atlantic and for very good reason. However, it must be incredibly frustrating for first responders in that situation - who may only be yards away, yet still unable to use their fortitude and training to save lives.

"Defibrillators are placed in many venues as standard. We believe having our system in situ in sports stadia, transport hubs, entertainment venues, malls and hotel chains should be equally valid, given that it contains everything you need to keep people alive in those crucial first ten minutes.

"Our aim is to prepare organisations and their customers for the very worst of circumstances, our hope is that they will never have to use it."
